Bio.
Hanna Kratsman Robles was born in Trujillo, Puerto Rico, to a Puerto Rican mother and an Argentinian father. At the age of twelve, she and her mother moved to Dallas, Texas, where she has since built her artistic practice and career as an educator. She earned her BFA from the University of North Texas and is currently a middle school art teacher.
As both an artist and educator, Hanna has completed four artist residencies in Latin America and Europe: Studio in Belgrade's Online Residency (2023), Residencia Corazón in La Plata, Argentina (2024), Come and Stay a While in Dallas, Texas (2025), and Local Air Valencia in Valencia, Spain (2026). These experiences have allowed her to connect with artists abroad while bringing new ideas and cultural perspectives back to her students and the DFW arts community.
Hanna's work explores her multicultural identity through quiet acts of connection, self-love, and service. Using vibrant colors inspired by her Caribbean home, she creates figurative paintings that document everyday expressions of love and care, celebrating the small gestures that connect people across cultures.
Committed to arts education, Hanna believes creativity can build confidence and strengthen community. She has presented three solo exhibitions at Ro2 Art Gallery in Dallas, participated in juried exhibitions, including Hecho en Dallas at the Latino Cultural Center, and has led oil painting workshops at the Carrollton Public Library through FBCAA.
